Penrith Show 2025
The Penrith Show is an exciting annual event held at the Penrith Showground, located at 127-141 Station Street, Penrith, NSW. This year, the show will take place on Saturday, August 30th, and Sunday, August 31st, marking its 180th year of celebration.
The Penrith Show provides a memorable experience that highlights the best of the community and brings people together in celebration. The Sydney Woodcarving Group is delighted to have been invited to attend the show with a display of members’ carvings, with some carvings that are for sale. During the day, there will periodically, be live demonstrations of woodcarving.
Woodfest 2025
The Woodfest 2025 festival is a mixture of workshops, timber sellers, furniture makers and other market stalls. The Sydney Woodcarving Group will be represented by our Illawarra section, The Shellharbour Woodcarving and Pyrograph Group. The festival will be held at Bulli Showground, NSW, on 18th & 19th November, 2025.
There will be demonstrations of woodcarving and pyrography provided throughout the day, also displays of woodcarvings made by members of the club, with many carvings available for sale.
